About H. Alan Scott
H. Alan Scott is a comedian and writer. Hailing from a lovingly dysfunctional family from the right side of the tracks in St. Louis, Missouri, he has become what some people would call quite a catch (at least his Mom thinks so).
Scott has performed at the Hollywood Improv, the Laugh Factory, Comix, Caroline’s on Broadway, and Chicago’s Lakeshore Theater. Scott is a featured blogger for “The Huffington Post.” You may have also heard him on Sirius/XM Radio or as one of here!TV.
Last year Scott got cancer, which really put a wrench in his “big picture” plans. He turned his story into a #Chemocation, tweeting, blogging, and generally sharing too much information about what it’s like to get cancer, get treated for cancer, and go a little crazy about having got said cancer. Visit chemocation.com and follow @HAlanScott on Twitter.
Recently Scott was listed in the Celebrity Twitter Directory published by Imagine Publishing.
Scott, along with Bryan Wilson, is the co-host and producer of “SRSLY LOL,” an alternative variety show in New York City and Los Angeles. E-mail SRSLYLOLshow@gmail.com for information on the show, getting booked, and bringing it to your city.
Scott is also the creator, producer, and host of “The Tweet Spot: The Twitter Game Show.” Guests such as “Daily Show” co-creator Lizz Winstead, Hal Sparks, Sara Schaefer, and Kambri Crews have all taken the tweet spot challenge.
Scott currently splits his time between New York City and Los Angeles. Contact HAlanScott@halanscott.com for more information.
