I had a serious boyfriend who actually thought email would be a cool way of breaking up . . . ouch. I have to confess though that I just sent a "let's be friends" email to a guy I've been talking to this summer, completely friendly, no kissing or anything, but he all of a sudden became very aggressive and in this case email seemed to be ok . . .
